Great Wraps October 10, 2008 Paul F. Shine 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
THESE ARE NOT GLOVES FOR HITTING A HEAVY BAG!!!!! I have read reviews that say that these aren't strong or well made for bag gloves...That's because these ARE NOT bag gloves, they are gel hand wraps. You use these for extra protection for your knuckles and wrists. You put these on and then you put your BAG GLOVES ON OVER THEM....sorry for repeating myself but I just want to clear. anyway great product if you use them correctly. You may need to buy your heavy bag gloves one size larger than your actual size so these fit under them. My wrists and knuckles feel great after a hard workout on the heavy bag much more support than classic hand wraps.
Use as intended May 29, 2008 riqal 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These gloves work just fine if you will use them as intended and read the directions for use. To all the people who have left negative reviews about this product, blame yourselves for not following the directions for use. These are not heavy bag gloves - they are for speedbag or double end bag, or to be used in place of handwraps underneath heavybag gloves. So if your gel gloves were destroyed because you put them on and then starting pounding on a heavy bag, then you are a moron. You are suppose to put heavy bag gloves on top of the gel gloves. Buy extra large heavy bag gloves if you need to so that the bag gloves will fit over the gel gloves.
If your gel gloves were destroyed while you were removing them from your hands, then you are an imbecile. The directions clearly state how you are suppose to remove these gloves, and using brute force to remove them is not the way. They are very easy to remove, you just did not follow the direction that came with the gloves. So don't trash everlast, blame yourself for being a pinhead.
Fits like a glove! Very Helpful for me! June 5, 2009 Larry R. Bowers (Kernersville, NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I recently joined a boxing gym, purely for the workout. When I joined they gave me clothe wraps and showed me how to wrap my hands properly. As I continued with the workouts, I noticed that I was bruising my knuckles and my right wrist began to hurt when working on the bag. I saw these on Amazon and they looked like a good solution. They were. Very comfortable and I am able to use them with my boxing gloves. The wrist support is better and gives me a more secure feeling. It also takes the guess work out of wrapping my hands myself. Just a word of caution, make sure that you do not make the Velcro closers too tight. After my first use my left index finger was numb on the tip and it was cause I put it on too tight. Other than that great product, very happy!!
Easy, Quick, Comfortable February 2, 2010 Cole Morse (Virginia, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly I have to say they are called Hand Wraps, not Gloves, for a reason. People using these as gloves make up the vast majority of negative reviews, which is a shame. As Hand Wraps these are intended to be worn beneath your gloves taking place of the original hand wraps, which you actually had to wrap around your hand. They are very quick to put on, quite comfortable, and offer a stiff wrist. Having used them every three days for the past two months I have no complaints, they are starting to break down a bit, but I use them quite heavily and they are on pace to last as long as old fashion wraps. I will be buying another set, they make it easy to get in a quick heavy bag routine.
Everlast EverGel Hand Wraps February 5, 2008 R. Correa (San Diego, CA) I purchased this gift as part of my main Christmas gift for my husband. He LOVES the hand wraps and says that they fit great.
